Join Us in Ghent! Critical Language Awareness for Sustainability, Solidarity and Inclusion
The second edition of the CLADES Congress will take place on the 25-26 February 2026, in the beautiful city of Ghent, Belgium.
Organised as part of the Critical Language Awareness for a Sustainable Society (CLADES) project, this international event brings together scholars, educators, activists, and creatives who are passionate about the role of language in driving sustainable change.
What to Expect?
Congress 2 is planning to offer a rich and interdisciplinary programme, featuring a mix of:

- Poster sessions
- Discussion forums
Whether you work in education, communication, linguistics, the arts, or sustainability research, you’ll find valuable connections and insights across the diverse formats.

We welcome contributions from a wide range of disciplines and creative practices.
Submit Your Contribution
We invite proposals for Individual Presentations, Hands-on sessions and workshops, Dialogue Sessions, Symposia, and other other formats, such as artistic interventions and debates.
The deadline for submissions is October 1, 2025.
